Refrigerator Door by Luke Combs

I am a pretty nostalgic person, so this is one of my favorite songs of all time. This song tells the story of all the drawings, pictures, flyers, etc. that can be found posted on people’s fridge doors, a wide array from year and years ago. Luke Combs then goes on to talk about how many of these are forgotten memories as the years fly by, and it is a good reminder to stop and reminisce every once in a while. This song was released in 2019 on his album titled “What You See is What You Get”.

Where the Boat Leaves by Zac Brown Band

Zac Brown Band is widely known for their song “Chicken Fried” both my country music fans and others. On the same album, titled The Foundation, is a song titled “Where the Boat Leaves From”. This song has the perfect summer feel to it, making it a prime candidate for a lake day song.

American Nights by Morgan Wallen

American Nights is one of Morgan Wallen’s earlier releases. This song was released as a single in 2016 and isn’t as well-known by country fans. It shares the story of the typical American small town on the weekend.

Wonder by Megan Moroney

Released in 2021, Wonder is Megan Moroney’s first song. She is getting more popular this year after releasing her album, “Am I Okay?” this past summer. Wonder is about a girl desiring a relationship that doesn’t make her wonder if her partner likes her. Megan Moroney has a unique voice in female country and deserves to have more hit songs.

Oklahoma City by Zach Bryan

Zach Bryan is mainly known for his hit songs “Something in the Orange” and “I Remember Everything”, however, he has multiple albums that remain underrated. One of his earliest released songs, Oklahoma City, is a popular song among his biggest fans, however, it is underrated in the grand scheme of things. Zach Bryan wrote this song after his grandfather called him from OKC while Zach Bryan was deployed. His grandfather was about to pass, so Bryan told him to wait until he got back to Oklahoma City. Bryan made his way back to Oklahoma and as soon as the plane’s wheels touched the ground, his grandfather passed.

Goodbye Gets Around by Dylan Marlow

Goodbye Gets Around is one of Dylan Marlow’s first songs. Released in 2021, the song talks how everyone in a small town hears about each breakup that occurs within the town. Dylan Marlow is rising to fame after opening for various country artists on their tours. He just released his debut album and is becoming more and more popular.

Roll With It by Easton Corbin

Released on his 2010 album, self-titled Easton Corbin, Roll With It came out in 2010. Easton Corbin is a lesser known country artist but had a few popular hits in 2010s country. Roll With It is an upbeat song about going with the flow on a sunny day and just having fun.

All American Guy by Chris Janson

Just recently released earlier this year, All American Guy is about a guy who loves all the simple things in life, going fishing, watching football, the country he lives in, etc. This is your typical American country song, singing about patriotism and loving the United States. Chris Janson isn’t as popular of an artist as some, which is why this song is incredibly underrated.

She Loved Me by Jason Aldean

She Loved Me was one of the first songs released by Jason Aldean, a popular name in country music. This song is included on his first album, self titled “Jason Aldean”. This song was released in 2005 and remains unknown by most country fans. It tells the story of a young relationship that was fun while it lasted, however, looking back it probably wasn’t the best.

It Happens by Sugarland

Sugarland was a popular band in the early 2000s, but has since been forgotten by many. It Happens was released in 2008 on their album titled “Love on the Inside”. This song follows a story about how little things happen that could ruin your day if you let it, but it’s important to just brush it off and keep on going. It has a happy, fun beat and a catchy tune.
